Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) is a Cisco professional level certification course. It is recognized globally that allows the candidate to advance their knowledge of network designs, routing and switching, and knowledge of developing enterprise and architectecture. Cisco CCDP is normally taken when a candidate is done with Cisco CCDP certification. CCDP is meant for senior network design engineers, senior system engineers and anybody involved in the design implantation of an enterprise network.

Prerequisite

Candidates who wants to enroll for this course should obtain a valid Cisco CCDA and either CCNA Routing and Switching or any Cisco CCIE certification

Exams

Candidate who wants to attain Cisco CCDP certification must pass the three exams by attaining 850 passing score on a scale of 300-100. The type of questions is multiple choice, drag and drop fill ins and simlets and simulation. The exam can be taken in any order and they include;

• Cisco 300-101 ROUTE; Certifies IP routing knowledge and skills. It is a 120-minutes exam with 45-55 questions.

• Cisco 300-115 SWITCH; Certifies IP switching knowledge and skills. It is a 120-minutes exam with 30-45 questions.

• Cisco 300-200; Designing Cisco Network Service Architecture (ARCH). It is a 75-minutes exam with 50-70 questions.

Validity

The certification is valid for 3 years and for renewal, the candidate must pass any of the professional level course.
